OUR WHY

Legacy Scholars of America Foundation was founded in 2022 by Sandy L Sosa, to provide students of low to medium income who wish to enroll in a faith based private school with scholarships and tuition assistance for currently enrolled private school students who are facing hardship granting parents the freedom to choose a faith-based K-12 school that best fits their children.

The founders' vision is powerful but simple: "All children should have access to great faith-based K-12 schools". The founders' commitment to launch the Legacy Scholars of America Foundation was formed through many years of frustration with a lack of reform and faith within the public school system and unsuccessful legislative efforts to provide publicly funded vouchers to families for private school. legacy scholars of America foundation wants to help parents set a foundation for their kids through assisting their needs and not having to impact the families' basic financial capabilities.
