Our Story
Legacy Scholars of America Foundation began with our children.
As students, they noticed some of their friends were losing access to educational opportunities because their families were experiencing financial hardship. Wanting to help, they used their own birthday money to assist a friend so they could continue their education.
That act of kindness sparked something much bigger.
Over time, they continued looking for ways to help other students and young athletes by assisting with registration fees, helping teams participate in events and competitions, and supporting programs that positively impacted youth and families.
As parents, we watched their passion for helping others grow. What started as children helping their friends eventually inspired our family to create Legacy Scholars of America Foundation.
Today, we continue that mission by helping remove financial barriers and creating opportunities for students and families through academics, athletics, fine arts, mentorship, leadership development, and community support.
At its heart, Legacy Scholars was founded on a simple belief:
