Matching Gifts

Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match any charitable contributions made by their employees.

Gifts of Stock

To donate stock, bonds, or mutual fund shares to Legacy Scholars of America Foundation, please authorize your broker to transfer your shares. To avoid capital gains taxes, do not sell the stock yourself or have your broker sell it. Transfer shares intact to Legacy Scholars of America Foundation. For tax purposes, the value of your stock gift (certificates or electronic transfer) is determined by the average of the high and low on the day of the transfer.
